E-Flash A FAPSC membership publication May 01, 2009
|
Today is supposed to mark the end of Florida's 2009 Legislative session. However, it's been extended due to budget issues. Today does mark the end of FAPSC' 2009 Legislative session --with vicitories!
Due to great bill sponsors and lots of teamwork, we were able to successfully lobby for passage of three key bills – all of them are now on their way to the Governor! We thank everyone who has worked with us this session, and think you will agree that your dues have been well spent when you review these bills. We will continue to work hard to ensure Gov. Charlie Crist views them favorably. And we hope you will encourage non-member schools in your area to join the cause. Together we DID make a difference!
