Loss of a Friend, a Leader and Humanitarian: Dave Bitner

On September 8th, the Republican Party of Florida’s Chairman Dave Bitner lost his courageous battle with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS).

Chairman Bitner was a friend of our sector and was always on our side advocating for student choice.   FAPSC executive director, Kathy Mizereck said it best, "Dave Bitner was a true friend to our sector, and a fine human being. He was a man of integrity and tremendous strength, and our state has lost a wonderful asset. His wife, Wendy, has our prayers and support at this difficult time."
